grandprix104 Posted June 16, 2003 Report Share Posted June 16, 2003 I want to move my drivers seat back about 1-2" from its current location. Im rather tall 6' 6" and dont fit all that well. Will there be any problem with doing this? Another thing, How hard would it be to add new leather/power seats from a new regal or grand prix about 1999+ I fell in love with the seats in my moms new regal and i want them in my car. GnatGoSplat Posted June 16, 2003 Report Share Posted June 16, 2003 You want to unbolt the seats and bolt them in 1-2" further back? You could probably do this, but it won't be safe at all. The only problem will be the seat will pull out in any kind of collision. It can be done, but you'd definitely gambling with your life. I'd just recommend a bigger car. You could probably have some new mounting points welded in, maybe some other braces and such. However, how it'll behave in a collision is anyone's guess.
