cutlass42 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 Can a sunroof from a 92 grand prix STE 4door fit a 91 cutlass coupe? If so,is it a pain in the ass to install? Quote
Robby1870 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 Yes and yes (assuming you don't currently have a sunroof). Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 just think about the fact that you need to cut a perfect hole in your roof, and that if you screw up, you'll need a new roof panel welded on. Quote
Stevo Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 If you have made a top template from a CS that HAD a sunroof for use on the one that will recieve it and take note of what the CS hole looks like it should not be a problem. Dont forget that the hole is not a simple hole per se. It's a cutting with tabs left behind and not a square hole. The tabs are bent at a 90* angle. I'm gonna do the same thing myself to my car when I transfer the interior. Quote
Addicted2bass Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 We do sunroofs sometimes at my work. My boss does them all though. Im not goin anywhere near the roof of a car with a sawzall!! Quote
rockfangd Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 i really want a moonroof on my cutty but i am so not going to take a chance on doing it myself Quote
Crazy K Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 my yard has a 94 CS with a sunroof, the type that is mounted with a above roof bezel and headliner trim panel.... but it also has a 95 GTP and a 93 STE with sunroofs, the type where the panel was pre-bent. If i want to adapt one of these to my car (95 CS), which should I choose? Quote
GP1138 Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 U vans did come with sunroofs.... That's the power switch for the dustbuster. Quote
