Redfox340 Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 Yeah, it could be that. Also, have you had your tires rotated / balanced lately? Did you do a panic stop lately? If so, that could of flat-spotted the tires. - RedFox340 Quote

Redfox340 Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 wat happens when you flat spot a tire? how can this be correted? In a panic brake situtation or a e-brake slide or stop. Either you deal with the vibration or replace the tire. When flat-spotted, you'v loss tread wear big enough to where it's not a complete circle anymore. The "flat-spot" hits the road and as results, can give the vehicle vibrations. - RedFox340 Quote
Robby1870 Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 I think its just aligment/balance/rotation. Its hard to flat spot stock tires, cuz they use such hard compounds to make them last longer, but its still a possibility Robby Quote
