gtp34
Any idea why someone would do this? I just got a 95 Monte Carlo Z34 with a shot transmission. Most likely stripping the car for parts. Anyways, I'm taking out the rad and low and behold someone put a fuel filter on one of the flex lines that goes to the rad. ???????

RJansen658
Actually I know exactly what that is. A few years ago, I worked at uhaul as a hitch installer. We went to a big mandatory class for all uhaul hitch installers. Really it was a lot like a convention with seminars. Part of the job was installing transmission oil coolers. There are companies out there that make kits which have inline filters like the one you describe. Also I mean think about it... Bonnevilles, and many other gm cars have inline P/S filters, why not ATF versions.
