Rich951
1997 Cutlass my EVO is not working.I'm looking for the electrical connector on the pump not the pump. The actuator is located or supposed to be located at the bottom of the power steering pump. Could it also be called an Variable Effort Steering (VES) Solenoid or is that somthing else. I looked at GM Parts and AC Delco parts and there is no PART NUMBER!!!! Not sure but is GM part #26071766 the right p/n? I looked at the GM part and it dose'nt give any PICS. digitaloutsider
Not really sure why John moved it here. I'm pretty sure that isn't an N-body Cutlass. I'm also fairly certain that N-bodies never got variable assist steering. The OP must have mistyped it and meant "SL".

What did it for me (besides the original "LS") was the position in the picture of the idler pulley. I've never seen that on a W. Sorry!
