cutlass42
I was wondering if a cavalier 3.1 5spd will transfer into a 91 3.1 cutlass, and if the cv axles are hard to source. My cutlass currently has a 4t-60.

Bake82
Who's turn is it to tell this guy no? and why it can't realistically be done? I'll tell him...... The transmission will physically bolt up to the block, but it will NOT bolt to the subfram as it is missing the provission for the trans mount. Also it has a short intermediate shaft which will not bolt up to our cars. thirdly, I believe the spline count on the axles are also different. In other words, it WILL NOT WORK. Look for one from a Grand Prix or Cutlass Supreme. Will go in alot easier and because your's is a 92, pretty much plug and play. Good luck!
