GutlessSupreme Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 anyone have these? i don't need retainers.. and I think the bolts are torque to yield so I'm gonna replace those. GM dealerships in all there wisdom decided to only replace the retainers and bolts, but not the bushings, when the did the recall on the STE a few years ago. Quote
5speedz34 Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 The aren't supposed to replace the bushings the recall is only for the retainers and the bolts. I know stupid. The did the same thing on the '88 when I had it. Quote

93CutlassSupreme Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 The rear bushings are now available in the aftermarket. Dorman # 924-005 Quote
CSI_MuNkY Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Holy old Thread... I may as well comment though... The Dorman parts are probably factory replacements. There are a full set of bushings with my name on them. Once I can get the set in my hands I will be reverse engineering new Delrin subframe bushings for those interested in performance replacements. 5speedz34 Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 Since about November of last year the Dorman front bushings aren't available. I think they are on back order or out of production at the moment. Personally I'm surprised they came out when they did considering the youngest w-body was about 13 years old. Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 I have now found 2 sets from 2 different suppliers. I can now avoid the stealership and keep this trooper running longer. Quote
