Euro
Hey guys, after my mechanic checked out the GP yesterday(said it was damn clean and HAD the correct mileage) that the brakes were most likely the original brakes. Sooooo this opportunity for maintenance, brings me to my first mod!! Anybody here( or know of anybody) who upgraded the brakes? What should I go with? I don't want to do the F-body upgrade, too much $$ right now. A simple 12" front upgrade might work out alright, but maybe just drilled/slotted rotors with ceramic pads? What do you all think? 1990lumina
I dunno about any upgrades..but I put some ceramic pads on my Lumina yesteday along with new rotors and damn..it stops so much nicer now! So yeah, include ceramic pads in your list!
digitaloutsider
Do EBC GreenStuff pads with some good rotors. The change is incredible.
Euro
i heard the EBC's chewed up the rotors pretty bad? I can't remember if it were the greens, reds, or both. Shaun what kind of rotors did you get?

Shaun what kind of rotors did you get? I have middle-of-the-road rotors from AutoZone. No problems with them chewing up rotors.

I keep thinking it's ANY 12" upgrade that needs new calipers. But...it's the F-BODY 12" upgrade that needs the calipers. I might have to keep my eyes open for some brackets then. Do it when I replace the fronts again...he he he.
