RareGMFan
So....this weekend, 99RegalGS is going to come down, and we're going to tackle the starter and bypassing the A/C compressor so we can get the TGP on the road again. What I was wondering was, for those of you who got a shorter belt, and just skipped over the compressor altogether (not using the A/C delete pulley), do you remember the right length/part number for the belt needed to do this? digitaloutsider
Oh man. I remember it was like for a Ford 2.2 liter or something. That's about all I can remember.
rockfangd
yeah you can purchase a bypass pulley for about 38.00 but beware even though it mounts on really easily there is no mounting hardware included so you have to buy at least 2" long bolts and lock nuts. I just did mine on my 94 today

I'm not going to get/use the pulley.
White93z34
what i like to do is figgure out about how long a belt you will need, a lot of auto parts stores will let you look through their inventory and find something that matches the best.
