car is stalling

My alt. blew out about 2-3 weeks ago. i changed that no problem. but sence then the car runs normal till it gets warm. (warm=drive 15-20miles) then if i am brakeing coming oup to a stop it starts to fight to stay running the rpms go up and downtill it stops and levels off or kills. plus the tranny is getting worse now every shift seems to be getting more and more violent. yesterday i was going to workk i went to pass a guy and 50(i wanted to go 60) i hit the gas and pulled out it downshifted into 2nd it felt like i ran over a 6in speed bomp only with the front end. it was a mean shift. the tranny fluid still seems to be leaking into something cause there is nothing under the car. but anyway would the car be stalling because of obd1 or what the last tiime i unhooked my battery it relearned the idle by itself and it didnt take this long though. any ideas?

Bad vacuum modulator. That would cause extremely harsh shifts, as well, it can allow transmission fluid to be sucked up into the intake, Which would explain the fluid level going down, but not seeing anything leaking on the ground. As for the stalling, i'm not totally sure what could cause that. Maybe try cleaning the IAC and doing an idle relearn.

You would think that if the ilde wasnt learned it would do it all the time not just when the motor is warmed up.

That vacc. mod. is on top of the tranny to the back of the motor right i tried to look at that before but i couldnt see much at alli didnt want to move everything and have that not even be what i needed to look at.
