so what is the actual durability folks? I'm thinking of going obdII in my daily driver, so why not do it in style?

If you're going OBD-II, the 65-E HD is the OBVIOUS choice Ken.

EDIT: Unless you're doing a lot of stuff to that "hybrid" or a 3500, you wouldn't really need much more than a 60-E though...

I would go with the 4t65e simply because I don't think that the HD would be necessary unless you really beef up the engine...

exactly what i was going to say. but if you can pick up the hd version for not much more, why not? obviously its the beefiest, but it also has the lower FDR(2.93) so you'll get better mileage.

depends on what engine its going with. Id just go with a 4T60-e. If you take care of them theyll last a very long time, and they are cheaper than the other. But then again if your going to be making some power, then go with the beafier tranny.
