Pontiac6KSTEAWD
Jeff M has gone incognito for the moment. He was dealing with some health issues. You can still contact Kenny K thou. He has his own version of the TGP mod chip. There are also other upgrades that need to be done. WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!! and dont forget to visit the TGP's own board at.. http://www.tgpforums.com/index.php
GOT2B GM
Kenny (TGPilot) and Dave (Invasion1) on TGPforums make chips
Dark Ride
If your looking for a chip contact TGPilot(He owns/operates his own shop, can't remember the name) or Invasion1. I would start with the air filter and chip upgrade before attempting to put in a new turbo, tho it can be done, and there is plenty of info on the TGPforums. Jeff M is pretty much unreachable at this point, as far as i know. Good luck
Pontiac6KSTEAWD
Well, the main thing is he has to get the X-over replaced, make sure he is using the correct O2 sensor and plugs, then you go to the air filter, chip, etc.

Of course I have yet to do mine
350TPI
I contacted invasion1 this weekend and he told me that hes retired from the chip making game.He said that the best bet was kenny.
trbo31
Yeah I already fixed the x-over problem last year , k&n was my first upgrade as well as adding a blow off valve. I have been checking out All the TGP sites I can, since I have had this car. Even got ride of the mufflers as explained on the tgpgarage. Thanks for the info I contacted kenny and he replied does anyone know if these chips are as good as Jeffs or better. I'm getting ready to rebuild the trans upgrade it to posi at the same time on put a 2200 stall converter next month. So I want it to run at its best. so any more info is appreciated. krenzy
I can vouch for both guys, Dave and Kenny. Dave made me my chip, and Kenny did my crossover...if Dave backs Kenny, then you can be sure that Kenny is the way to go! Post some pics if you get a chance! In answer to if they are as good or better, without putting Jeff M. down, they are. They do the same thing, help fix the same problems, and are TOTALLY worth every penny. My car was a total mess before a complete tune up and Performance Chip. I back both Kenny and Dave 100%.
Addicted To Boost
To answer your question, the Kenny Chip makes approx. 30HP and 30lb ft of torque MORE than the Jeff M. chip.
Dark Ride
I contacted invasion1 this weekend and he told me that hes retired from the chip making game.He said that the best bet was kenny. I think that dave doesnt want to step on kennys feet in making chips, thats probably why he won't do it. From the things i've heard is that kenny's chip IS better than Jeff Ms. Like I said before, Jeff M is kinda out of the market, God only knows where he is, if hes still even around. I've heard of many people switching from jeff m's chips to kenny's new chips. Kenny has spent a lot of time messing around with the TGPs and knows his stuff, so I would recommend him for your chip, I plan to have him do mine someday. trbo31
Thanks for the info. I talked to kenny on the phone, lots of good info. I'm ordering it from him next week. Here is a picture of my turbo and one of my other gp's(this one runs 14.2 qmt with mild upgrades.)Does anyone have a front valance for sale? Dark Ride
Finding a TGP Valence is going to pretty close to impossible. However, a 91-93 valence (GTP IIRC) will bolt-up and is much stronger, and it doesn't look much different. It looks better IMHO, but to each his own. BTW, what spoiler is that on your TGP? 90 Black TGP had the same one, but then he painted his car grey, and it looks awesome.
trbo31
well any valance is better than none- As for the spoiler it came on it, I pulled it off before and compared it to the same year T/A for a perfect match.
