Puggsley456 Posted March 4, 2007 Author Report Posted March 4, 2007 dude, you go through subs and amps like I change my underwear! Garrett Powered Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 what are some of the specs and features? how much power at what ohms are you gonna run it? Quote
Puggsley456 Posted March 7, 2007 Author Report Posted March 7, 2007 what are some of the specs and features? how much power at what ohms are you gonna run it? Its CEA rated for 400x1@4ohm, 750x1@2ohm, 1200x1@1ohm. But it does close to 1500rms@1ohm which is what I'll be running it at. Quote
Puggsley456 Posted March 12, 2007 Author Report Posted March 12, 2007 Its in......What a difference it made in SQ and overall sub controll thanks to a nice increase in. Its rated at 400rms@4ohm but I swear it is doing more than my PG ti amp did which was 600rms. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 Nice! now you need to get metered! Quote
digitaloutsider Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Nice! now you need to get metered! For whatever reason, the first time I glanced over that, i read it as "Nice! Now you and I need to get married!" Quote
Puggsley456 Posted March 17, 2007 Author Report Posted March 17, 2007 Update: My ears are still ringing. Its crazy loud. Its amazing how loud a set of comonents can get with a good amount of Quality power on them. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 How much are you pushing to those comps? I betcha were pretty close now powerwise. Those 6500's get insanly loud! Just wish they had a little more excursion.... Quote
Puggsley456 Posted March 18, 2007 Author Report Posted March 18, 2007 They are getting 150rms per side. The best part is......NO VOLTAGE DROP! Quote
Puggsley456 Posted March 19, 2007 Author Report Posted March 19, 2007 Well.....this weekend the eD is going back in. In a new ported box. We'll see how it likes all that power! Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 w00t for the eD!!!! Believe me, they love the power! Quote
Puggsley456 Posted March 27, 2007 Author Report Posted March 27, 2007 Holy Sh*T Is It LOUD!! My entire rear deck and windshield move. And my amp gains are at about 2/3rds. If you watch the glare on the windshield in the vid, you can see it move slightly with the trunk lid open. eD 16Ov.2 + 1000-1100rms = Ear Sex! Its On ROE as well... http://realmofexcursion.com/videos/Elemental%20Designs/16ov2.6.wmv Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 What are the specs on that box you built?! You really need to get that thing metered now!!! I think you just might be able to beat the score i put up!!! Ive heard nothing but good about those subs.... hmmmm 2 15's instead of 2 12's...... Quote
Puggsley456 Posted March 27, 2007 Author Report Posted March 27, 2007 Which box the ported single 15 one or the Sealed dual 15 box? Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 Your ported box, the one that the eD is in Quote
Puggsley456 Posted March 27, 2007 Author Report Posted March 27, 2007 I designed it to make it easy to slide in and out thus the shallow depth. Here it is.... Quote
