So that is a good foundation to begin with... ohhh...they don't use different brake rotors!?...i guess i could still go with the F-Body brakes, since i couldnt get the pads anywayz... 99RegalGS Posted March 6, 2007 Report Share Posted March 6, 2007 Both won't clear... The C5 brake caliper cooling fins are larger and hit on many stock 16" wheels. The GXP front brakes use a larger 12.7" rotor and require a 17" wheel to fit. (some say the GP 16x8" cross laces may have a chance of fitting with GXP brakes though.)
