You still have to have the 12" rotors to go to the F-body calipers.....

ohhh...they don't use different brake rotors!?...i guess i could still go with the F-Body brakes, since i couldnt get the pads anywayz...:lol:

it thought F-Body brakes wouldnt clear the stock wheels though!?...

 

its the c-body calipers that wont fit the stock 16" wheels

i was actually thinking of the GXP brakes that wouldnt clear the stock wheels...

Both won't clear...

 

The C5 brake caliper cooling fins are larger and hit on many stock 16" wheels. The GXP front brakes use a larger 12.7" rotor and require a 17" wheel to fit. (some say the GP 16x8" cross laces may have a chance of fitting with GXP brakes though.)
