Brian P Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 I find 20% in my Olds a little tough to see around corners at night. Can't imagine 5% but eh. Quote
Brian P Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 I'm also kinda curious how they offer the rear hatch on the Camaro. Are the pieces contoured or what? I'm tempted to try it. I did it on my old car (cut it myself though) with good results. Quote
webbs Posted March 1, 2007 Author Report Posted March 1, 2007 I would guess they use some method where they tint the car and then can pull it off in one big sheet and tey have a pattern. but thats just how i would guess they do it. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Some pieces of glass they have to use more than one piece of tint. Quote
Andrew Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 i had 15% all around on my old Z(it was white), i would NOT recommend going any darker than that if you like visibility. Quote
cutty Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 i have 5% on the rear windows of mine, i think it looks good. And i have no problem seeing at night. Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 I'm looking at this link: http://www.snaptint.com/car_tint_Pontiac_Grand%20Prix%202%20Door_1990_coupe_complete.html and I was wondering how much of a difference there is between a 50% tint and a 35% tint. Up here in MN, they require that tint has to be 50% or lighter, so I don't really want to go darker than 35... It is also law up here that you can't have tint on your windhield Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 My car came from michigan, it had this tint, im pretty sure its about 35% the old lady died over there and her son drove it all the way from there to here in washington and i bought it from them, 35 shouldnt be that dark I found this... is this right? Is this about 35% tint?? Quote
