93cutty
If any of you guys need to replace your tcc solenoid I hope you have a nice garage and the tools and patience for the job. I'm in the process of changing mine on my 93 and so far I have had to remove the left engine cradle, upper exhaust crossover, both side motor mounts, left caliper, hub, axleshaft, and to top it all off once you get all that out of the way you still have to push, pull, and tug the pan to get it out. It probably wouldn't be that bad if the bolts on everything weren't 15 years old. But it's the only way if you need to change the pan gasket with the solenoid. I don't mind doing work on my car but this is alot of work for a 30 dollar solenoid. So if you are planning on attempting this make sure the heater works good in your garage and the beer fridge is kept full.

93cutty
Car is a little over 200k so I changed the fluid and soon after the car started to shudder when I accelerated but would go away at highway speed or if I shifted manually. I unplugged the TCC and the car ran fine but since it's my work car I need to gas mileage so I'm changing the solenoid.
