Crimson Fury Z Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 i'm tinkering w/the idea of swapping for the LS cluster. aside from needing to install the proper rpm goodness, would the wiring harness for the base fit into an LS cluster, or would repinning be needed? if anyone has the gm manual for an Impala, could i get some scans sent my way? Euro Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 i'd think it would be the same, what does your cluster show? Quote

DiscoStudd Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 http://www.impalahq.com The Impy gets its data stream from the Class II Serial bus, so you won't need to rearrange any wires. You'll only be able to upgrade to the cluster with the tach, gas, and temp gauges if you have the 3400. The 3400's PCM doesn't have a provision in it for the oil pressure gauge, so if you swapped in a Monte SS cluster with the full gauge package, the oil pressure gauge won't function. Won't be a problem if you have the 3800. Damn, I just saw that Impala HQ is down! Try poking around at http://www.naioa.com... Quote
