Redfox340 Posted June 10, 2003 Report Posted June 10, 2003 i just bought a amp meter and oil pressure gauge and would just like to know where i would install each ... i have a 95 cutlass with 3100 motor ... thanks guyz Where or how? Where: Agreed with JS91Z34, some place that takes little or no head movement and can be seen by just redirecting your eyes. The A-pillar is a good place, but you'll need to custom make a pod to hold them. How: The amp meter can be tied into a major circuit (something's that always that's on with the turn of the key) and continue the directions that came with it. As for the oil pressure, depending on electrical or mechanical, many people tap into the Oil Pressure Sending unit. With the mechanical gauge, splice into the oil return line with a T-fitting and you're set. Electrical gauges can splice into the original wiring, check installation directions that came with the gauge to check wire connections. Best of luck! - RedFox340 Quote
