Bigfut Posted June 10, 2003 Report Share Posted June 10, 2003 I have a '94 Olds cutlass Supreme with a 3100(3.1L M Code) engine. The temp gauge goes crazy whenever you go to take off or give the engine any load at all. I replaced the sensor on the driver's front side below the TB cause it was the only cooling sensor listed at work (Advance Auto Parts) and figured it would fix it. I have also recently developed an oil leak down the back of the engine about the drain plug and its been using a lil coolant. Friend of mine who is a full time Trans Tech told me its the same thing his parents was doing when there lower intake gasket went out. I'm at wit's end and really can't afford to replace a motor, any constructive thoughts are appreciated. Any guidance is more appreciated yet.
