runt
So I picked one up tonight. The car gets warm, but the air inside doesn't seem to get "hot" like it should. If I let it idle after I've been driving for awhile, it will get "hot" and the gauge will go up, but after driving a short distance, that's all but gone. So I'm figuring thats bad. But...my real question...the PCM doesn't require any type of tuning to run that thermostat does it? I didn't think about this till after I picked it up (wow...$10!) It's not that much colder so I don't think it'll hurt, and I don't think I'll notice that much of a difference with air inside of the car even in the colder temps. Any input? Dan94Z34
The ECM goes into closed loop at 170 somthing degrees, you will be fine with a 180 thermostat.
