greekguy7
My 1988 2.8litre has a rough idle... and driveability isnt that great either. I am wondering if one of my injectors is bad. I dont feel like pulling the plenum to ohm out all 6 injectors though. Where's the harness located that goes to the left bank and right bank of the engine so i can ohm out 3 at a time?? Is it safe to assume that usually bad injectors ohm out badly also? I know the spec is over 12ohms each.
Robby1870
The harness containing those wires runs over to the passenger side of the engine, down beneath water pump and keeps going farther down where it picks up the ICM and A/C wiring. Basically, just follow that as far as you can, but as you'll see, it's probably going to be easier to take the plenum off and ohm each injector. And yes, usually a bad injector will show a resistance less than 12 ohms.
