slick Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 I can't find a link for this deck to give it any sort of rating. I found some with similar model #'s, but not exact. Quote
Savage Messiah Posted January 29, 2007 Author Report Posted January 29, 2007 I had screwed up.... its the db265mp Quote
slick Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 For the same price, you can pick up this JVC: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17386 It'll be a much better unit. Quote
Savage Messiah Posted January 29, 2007 Author Report Posted January 29, 2007 hm. the clarion was 71 bucks... but how much of a quality difference are we talking? Quote
slick Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 The JVC has a 24 bit d/a convertor, much better sound quality. If you plan on running any amps, the JVC has 2.5 volt output compared to a 1.8 volt output. The JVC also has seperate subwoofer control. The JVC has a 3 band eq compared to the Clarions built in nothing. The JVC is the obvious choice. I would save the extra $30 and get it, you will be much happier. BTW, I install JVC's at work all the time. They are the decks that come back least with problems. I see more Sony's and Pioneer's back with problems than anything else. Quote
