97+ steering wheel/column interchangability?

I'm going to bump this:

 

First: Does anyone have the picture he attached, since the mods deleted it.

 

Second: Can anyone verify about the finishes on the 97 and 98-00 wheels? I emailed Ed Morad and he says he knows of no difference, and I searched under the the original posters name on ClubGP and he has no mention of it.

The 97 steering wheel has a smoother leather finish exactly like the 94-96 steering wheels and it is a steel steering wheel. The 98-00 has a matte like leather finish and it is an aluminum steering wheel. I didn't weight them but I could tell the 98+ was lighter for sure.

 

But I just wanted to reiterate it has to be a 97 airbag to work on the 94-96

I wanted to put the lumina steering wheel in my car. I always liked the three spoke lumina wheel, but would it fit on 96 gs??
