Attention Buick Regal Owners With Full Analog Gauges

I have a quick question for all Buick Regal owners with full analog gauges and a floor mounted shifter. Is there a drive or gear indicator on the instrument cluster as well as the shifter? Obviously since I have a floor mounted shifter, the shift indicator is on the left side of the gear shift. However, some vehicles have shift indicators right on the instrument panel. I have a blank space on my instrument cluster that I think could've been for a shift indicator, but nothing lights up. This is how my car has been since I bought it. I'd like to know if I have a burnt out bulb without tearing the whole dashboard apart to get to it. Thanks for your help.

This kinda goes along with you question, yet not a Regal owner.

My Cutlass had that (with the floor shifter) and there's nothing behind it.

No wires, no assembly, just completely empty. It's there for the sedan / column shift display... eek! I said sedan!
