91GranSport Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 I have a quick question for all Buick Regal owners with full analog gauges and a floor mounted shifter. Is there a drive or gear indicator on the instrument cluster as well as the shifter? Obviously since I have a floor mounted shifter, the shift indicator is on the left side of the gear shift. However, some vehicles have shift indicators right on the instrument panel. I have a blank space on my instrument cluster that I think could've been for a shift indicator, but nothing lights up. This is how my car has been since I bought it. I'd like to know if I have a burnt out bulb without tearing the whole dashboard apart to get to it. Thanks for your help. Quote
Redfox340 Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 This kinda goes along with you question, yet not a Regal owner. My Cutlass had that (with the floor shifter) and there's nothing behind it. No wires, no assembly, just completely empty. It's there for the sedan / column shift display... eek! I said sedan! - RedFox340 Quote
