zx21
I have a 91 Buick Regal with the 3.1. The car came from the north so there is some rust here and there and some of the bolts are not in the best of shape. One area that concerns me are the little bolts holding the coil packs onto the module are rusted to the point that they are rounded off or in a pyramid looking shape... How would I go about fixing all this shall a coil fail?
gp90se
needle nose pliers and PB blaster If you cant get the the pliers in there, I think you can get vice grips on the bottom of the bolt and break it loose, then use a socket to finish getting them out. Crazy K
the coil packs are mounted on an aluminum plate, the entire plate can be removed, it's held on my 3 13mm nuts. two on top, one in the center bottom.
