CSI_MuNkY
OK, I recently started a new job that will give me the money needed to do all my suspension work in the spring. I'm doing coil overs on the rear and lowering springs up front. I'm not sure if I will be going with the Intrax springs or the ST springs just yet. I'm wondering if anyone knows the spring rates of them and stock... here are my 3 RPO codes for the stock suspension FE3 - SUSPENSION SYSTEM, SPORT 6XX - DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT SPRING RATE - 5TH IN STIFFNESS 7JK - PASSENGER SIDE FRONT SPRING RATE - 6TH IN STIFFNESS The reason I'm asking about the spring rate is because I'm buying my coil over parts separately, so I would like to TRY and match the ride quality, not going to be easy I know, but oh well. My final question... the other day Q-Ball sent me a link to the JC Whitney website for the ST springs, I noticed that it said: A) lowers .5" lowers 2" or something along those lines (lost the link) But the 2 different springs listed are the same part number... how do they get these two different numbers? Thanx in advance and sorry if any of this has been covered before... Jamie

CSI_MuNkY
ok, well thats what I'm going for... maybe I will attempt to e-mail some companies to see about getting a spring rate. Jamie

CSI_MuNkY
what is the current rear sprin for your car? it should start with 0__ like 0HH. 0FJ - REAR LEAF SPRING RATE - 4TH IN STIFFNESS missed that one the other day when I was looking for suspension RPOs, means nothing to me though Jamie
radman3120
dont know if its too late or not but the st are supposed to be 1.2" with a 500lb spring rate and the intrax 1.8" dont remember the spring rate. i contacted both companies if you want me to try to dig up the info. i ended up going with the STs because i was able to get them first (btw the site has read like that for forever they are just lazy and dumb. i was going to cancel my order since they kept pushing back the ship date then they finally arrived) and got pretty close to 1.2" but my struts were destroyed and i put on kyb gr2s to replace them. some people said that the STs would cause the ride be 'tooth jarring' but i installed them and drove around central pa perfectly comfortably then when i went to school in hoboken, nj i thought my interior was gonna fall apart
97loudcut
Well my springs (Eibach's) have settled after a week or so and I have to say tat my front end is pretty much slammed. It looks really good. I don't know how much drop I got but it had to be close to 2". Also, it maybe be the KYB GR-2's but it handles so much better.
