Marchi1 Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 So I had these Bronze wheels from the last car. They are 17x7.5" with a 42 mm offset. so they will fit Regal (dual drill as well). But not digging the bronze wheel on a silver car thing soooo. I am going to do a satin finished lip, and then paint the spokes in the middle a gray metallic to match the skirt of my car. What do you think? and here is the car for reference: sans window I just had installed. Also I have a place that can make the "super 6" logo for the center caps so that is matches the new one for the front: Think it will look good? Quote
jeremy Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 <-----not a fan of those rims, regardless of what color they are.....the car is hot though Quote
White93z34 Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 i kinda like those wheels, i'd have to see them on the car to say anything more myself. Quote
97loudcut Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 I think it will look good! Please do it. Quote
Psych0matt Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 theyll look better painted how you said, but im not a fan of the torqued spokes much. either way, I think they'd look better than stock, so I say do it! Quote
slick Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 I would really have to see what they look like on the car. The idea is good(although I think gunmetal and black rims are way overplayed), but the rim style is really really out there for me. Quote
Marchi1 Posted January 12, 2007 Author Report Posted January 12, 2007 If the weather holds out I will try and put them on, with the WAY small tires, for a photoshoot, and then try to get someone to PhotoShop them for me to the right color..... I kinda liked them as a) they are lots lighter then the OEM rims, they pull some of the odd number semi directional spoke look from the OEM rims, c) they were the right price. I am on the fence as I had another wheel picked out, but no one is buying the cavalier parts.......this was a way to occupy myself. Quote
Euro Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 i think they'll look good. put em on so we can see them! Quote
Marchi1 Posted January 13, 2007 Author Report Posted January 13, 2007 Well I think someone else is interested in them, so what about these instead. They are 18X7.5 Quote
jeremy Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 do you ever do anything with this? Quote

Marchi1 Posted February 3, 2007 Author Report Posted February 3, 2007 Project is moving slowly. I want to get the tires demounted before I finish painting, and I have been working on the suspension, and the brakes right now. Still kinda hesitant about it, and before I demount the tires want to put them on the car and see how they look. Quote
rockfangd Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 the wheels are nice but the cars already hot. i dont really see those rims looking all that great on that model Quote
