Loud popping noise when i use the brakes and start from a stop...

Hey. This started a few weeks ago then it stopped and now it has started back up again. When i use the brakes on my car you can hear/feel a popping noise coming from around the passenger side engine bay. When you start going again from a stop it will sometimes do this also. I am thinking that it might be a motormount??? My friend thinks it has something to do with my clutch but it is brand new and it only happens when i am using the brake or starting off. It doesn't matter if the car is in neutral or gear. Any ideas? On my old Z i had the drivers side bearing go out but it popped all the time, this doesn't pop at all if you are just cruising along, not on the brakes. Any ideas???

Brand new brakes in the front, caliper, and pads. It was doing it also before the brakes got done. The lines, booster, and other stuff like that has been checked by 3 differant places and they are said they were good.

How are your struts? Could be a worn strut or strut mount...

Cradel mount/bushing My cutty did the same thing. Then one day it had the finnal clunk. It broke the bolt it fel to the ground and the whole front end kicked to the driver side. The steering wheel was off extremely. Look into it there was a recall on them.

My neighbor had this happen to his Cutty- it ended up being a rear caliper that was hanging up. good luck
