mra32 Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 Does anyone know how to get the fenders of a lumina flared a little bit? I was thinking about how one would do this and I thought that I could either add like a plastic piece on or actually bend the metal out. I've heard about rolling the fenders with a baseball bat, but I'm not sure its this would get the effect that I want. Any ideas? Quote
Euro Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 i know patgizz was going to put on those chrome mexican special fender trim pieces, and mold them into the fenders, to look flared Quote
Cam'ron Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 didnt mikoK do something like this by undoing the fender opening and building a filler in there or something? Quote

logikf1ve Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 Why would you want to flare the fenders? :-x Quote
mra32 Posted January 13, 2007 Author Report Posted January 13, 2007 i might be able to get a deal on some rims that would be about an inch further out than stock wheels. The fenders in the back should have enough width to cover it, but the fronts might be a different story. besides, flared fenders are pretty sweet, so why not? Quote
logikf1ve Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 besides, flared fenders are pretty sweet, so why not? Not on a Lumina. Quote
Euro Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 yeah i have to agree, unless you're going to have some kind of gfx kit to finish it off Quote
z34_nut Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 Um.. all depends on the offset of the wheel if they fit... Mustang wheels fit, and generally stick out just a c*nt hair to far for my likeing... I did a whole write up, study, and took pictures... eh. Quote
mra32 Posted January 17, 2007 Author Report Posted January 17, 2007 do you remember the offset and width of those mustang wheels? Quote
