Ohs Noes my motor is missing some pieces

Intakes are sent out for extrude honing and heads are going for a full port and polish+ crane cams LS6 behive valve springs/ retainers

 

and this is just the begining.....i will keep post as the build up progresses

Ever consider Delrin? It's a bit tougher, so there will be less movement. Downside, my be more vibration(felt in the passenger compartment) and may not last quite as long as the poly due to the stiffness. Worth a thought though.

12 seconds? You had more than enough power to run 12's before. I'm assuming you're planning on staying on street tires if you only want 12 second et's?

well ok reliable low low 12s on street tires and lowl boost levels (10 psi)

Can't wait to see the finished product!

 

 

if you though i had axle issues/ breaking issues last yer.... just wait god just one 12 second pass and it will all be worth it though

some parts that are going in are:

 

arp head bolts

crane cam h-262

crane lifters

crane pushrods

crane cams LS6 valve Springs/ retainers :beehive type:

FFP UDP

FDP 62mm TB (as pictures in 1st post)

the axle shop stage 4+ - driver side axle :) - god damn this isnt cheap

a big turbo

 

i think im gunn stick with the 1.6 3100 rockers

1.6 ratio rockers will be more than fine.

 

What size turbo? Worried about spooling issues?

 

What are you on the intake side of the engine to make it breathe better? Extrude hone intakes?

the turbo is approx the size of the gt35r, no not really worried about spooling issues. 1st might be able to be actually used a little now and once i shift gear it drops to what 3k every time so the spoolup will be ready right away.

 

yes extude honed intakes as listed in 1st post

I missed it if you put up bottom end specs. It sounds like you have everything top end/boost wise to hit low 12s all day on pump gas with the setup. Any reason you're not going to a 3.4 crank? Best of luck with getting it together and tuned.
