CSI_MuNkY Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 Its a good thing Im getting KYB's. I get to try them out for myself! I don't even have mine yet, But Q-ball does, and his comments have been enough to sell me on them. Mind you he probably forgets what they are like, his car has been off the road for so long now. joey b Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 How long will it take to recieve product from tirerack.com? Also, will installation of the GR2 front struts require removeal of the knuckle assembly? Quote
dcjredline Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 I always have GREAT luck with Tire Rack shipping quoted at 3 day and things usually get here (NY) in 2. I just bought some Monroe sensatrac cartriges for the Lumina for $24 shipped (The Pair) on ebay. Quote
kanwisch Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 As is probably obvious by now, most on here use the KYB's. There's a good representation of SensaTrak's too so I went entirely by price. On price, call around and look online. Some post on here led me to accessoriesgiant.com but when I found out that the front strut mounts were on backorder and cancelled that, it took them over a month to credit me. I, of course, simply called my credit card company and disputed the charge well in advance of their actual credit. But they have good prices. Also, if you sign up ANY email address at Pep Boys' website, you can get a $5 off $50 purchase (online, printable coupon). So, if you buy each strut separately then you can get $10 off your order by simply printing the coupon twice. This is one plan for my rear struts, which I haven't done yet. Changing my fronts didn't make a noticeable difference in drive despite the stockers having come apart so I can't offer thoughts on the ride. The rear are too horrendous to notice much else Quote
rockfangd Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 KYBs all the way. I have them all they way around on my 94 cutty Quote
