GutlessSupreme Posted January 5, 2007 Report Posted January 5, 2007 I'm trying to wire up the reverse light switch for my auto>282 conversion in the TSTE. The Light green/black wire on side B is easy, because it's already used by the auto's tranny pos. switch. But where the auto uses an orange wire from the 15 amp Trunk Release fuse, the 282 is supposed to use a brown wire on side A to a 10 amp that's labeled in the FSM as "13 ALT FUSE" in the RS electrical panel. I can't find any other info on that fuse in the FSM and I can't find the cover for the fuse panel at the moment so I dunno which fuses are which besides the trunk rel. one. I would have no problem just using the orange trunk rel. wire, but it's hot at all times. the brown wire from the "ALT FUSE" is only supposed to be hot in run. Should I just not bother and use the org wire? Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted January 5, 2007 Author Report Posted January 5, 2007 Nevermind, I guess this wire exists on the auto too for the EGR valve. I just wasn't sure it was the right wire or not. Splicing time! Quote
