I have a '92 Lumina Euro and now that I seem to have the bugs worked out I was wondering if there are any worthwhile bolt-ons available, it has the 3.1 Multiport.

Tons! You've just got to know where to search and what to look for.

The best is to cross-reference other platforms / frames with the same motor.

You should be about to find a decent amount of material with minimal online searching.

Hint: Try the L-Body pages (Beretta / Corsica) since all of them want the most out of their push-rod.

I saw some stuff on ebay that looked too good to be true. One chip that alters the air fuel mixture or something and another that tells the car that the air coming in is colder. The stuff is selling for less than $10 and I thought it looked somewhat jakey. Anybody have experience with these products it seemed there was at least half a dozen similar auctions.

That's pretty much what I figured, what about parts for the 2.8 RWD from the s-10 are the cams and such interchangeable?

Don't believe so since those were created for more torque and lower RPM's.

Personally (unless otherwise expressed) stick to the FWD 2.8L / 3.1L MPFI's and you'll be set!

Ok I'm probably looking at around 400 after tax for a decent exhaust, underdrive pulleys, performance chip and a K & N filter. Has anyone tried this? Would this be worthwhile spending or would I end up with only a few horses added?

I think its worth it. I got my exhaust for $260, my K&N drop in for $50. My rockers for $176. Im looking at an FFP chip or UD pulley next, prolly chip though. Anyway, if you like your car, its worth it. You'll see more gains in torque than HP, but with that stuff, you should have a decent gain
