97loudcut Posted December 27, 2006 Report Posted December 27, 2006 It feels so good to finally get the Cutlass where I have always wanted it. Over the past year I have achieved almost every goal that I set out for this car. I only have a few things left to do, and it will finally be finished. Recently I've -Bought new wheels -Bought front lowering springs & FFP coilovers with KYB's -My gauges and gauge pod -My brake upgrade All I have left is to.. -Get new rubber for my new wheels -Install all the lowering parts -Finish the cross drilled and slotted with cermaic pads in the rear It's a random post, but it feels good after almost 2 years of dreaming, to finally have her where I want her. 97loudcut Posted December 28, 2006 Author Report Posted December 28, 2006 Honestly, I wont do anything enige swap wise until my 3100 goes. When that time comes around it will be go big or go home, meaning L56 and 4t65-HD. But thanks guys! Quote
97loudcut Posted December 28, 2006 Author Report Posted December 28, 2006 sweet what rims you buy man... gonna make up wait? Yes, you will be waiting for the unvailing Quote

Euro Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 things are looking good man. as much as we've fought, your car is badass man. and btw, whats an L56? Quote
White93z34 Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 Honestly, I wont do anything enige swap wise until my 3100 goes. and you will be waiting a LONG time for that. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 I think the tranny is more likely to go before the 3100 does. Lets just say if you wait that long, there will be no body left. The motor will outlast the body. Quote
Euro Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 i dunno if thats a good thing or a bad thing? lol Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 I have my drivetrian plans, I just need another car before I can actually do what I wanna. And it does involve the 3100. Id say thats a good thing Quote
IRONDOG442 Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 Honestly, I wont do anything enige swap wise until my 3100 goes. That is a very practical/smart approach Matt Quote
pwmin Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 congrats. i, too, have the same feeling (except i havent done the brake upgrade yet)...now that im selling it Quote
88Regal Limited Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 when is the un-veiling? (sp?) Goodluck with whatever you do. Are the rims 077's? Quote
97loudcut Posted December 28, 2006 Author Report Posted December 28, 2006 I just got the car undercoated today. I am picking up the wheels probably Sunday. I will post a teaser picture (with me in it of course) and let you all guess. Then I will unvail. Quote
jdcutty Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 I am also curious as to what an L56 is. And I have had a car outlast a 3100 so I wouldn't count out an engine swap yet. Especially as nice as your car is lookin, Matt. Quote
