airhog vs the K&N

truthfully, they flow about the same. Both will help pickup a little more flow over a paper, but the K&N has been around longer and has very few complaints (it does let more dirt in then a paper, but not enough to stop most people from buying one)

K&N If you want to spend that much money on your car. Unless you go the used way.

they're not that much. i bought mine for like $45 and that was probably 3.5 years ago. I'd go with K&N

K&N for sure, they are so trusted and have no problems. They aren't that much for a drop in either.

K&N, I've had one since I've own the car, its been about 1.5 years and about 20,000 miles and it still looks new. It may be a little more expensive, but will pay for itself

It will pay for itself only if you own the car a long ass time. A normal paper filter is like 6 bucks whereas a K&N is around 50. And, you figure you need to change air filters hwo often?

How long does a normal paper filter last, I dont even know, I think we change the one in my moms every other oil change depending how it looks. I think it was worth the $50 that it cost, if nothing else I dont have to fight with the goddamn airbox to get the filter out as often, thats just a pain in the ass

The only difference that I can see between the AC filter and the K&N filter, is that you can clean the K&N, and itll last longer. As compared to buying a new AC filter at every tune up.
