pff, proper intercooler install. i think i would know how to drop something in between the LIM and the SC. its not that hard

im sorry, im not made of a million bucks man, i took what i could get, alright?

and everything hits.

and i was told that full size ICs should clear even with stock rails, but then again, its my car, what else is new.

and modified rails/fuel logs wont solve the problem, cause the bbv still hits and all, but whatever.

I agree its not that hard to put a core in between the sc and lim, but doing it properly IMO means using fuel rails that aren't hacked together. Since ZZP & W-body store both offer fuel rails for under $100 that will work IMO thats the best way to go. When you're spending $850 on an intercooler setup, another $100 to do it properly isn't much IMO. Even still I modified mine because I'm cheap and my car is a budget build (goal is 11's for under $5k TOTAL invested...including purchase price of car), but realistically I recommend fuel rails to everyone doing an intercooler, unless of course they are doing an SS and use injector spacers. And I even plan on getting some of the modified fuel rails as soon as my car pulls off an 11 sec pass.

Do you still have the insulation under your hood? Also, it is really weird that the bbv is hitting since it is like an inch lower than the blower at that point. It really shouldn't be anywhere near the hood at all, especially if it is pushed down on the slots all the way. You do have a stock hood right???

I'm not trying to give you a hard time or anything, just saying that there shouldn't be any clearance issues with a stage 2 or even a stage 3 core and aftermarket rails. If you don't have aftermarket rails then the only thing you should have clearance issues with is the fuel rails, and even then they should clear with the stage 2 core.
