joey b
Yeppers, broke the damn thing off. Tried to use and EZ out to remove it from the LIM and it is just shaving metal away from the fitting. Any suggestions? Seems the loktite on the threads has that in place rather tightly. I was thinking of heat. Is that safe?
White93z34
the initial problem is that the fitting was made out of some junk pot metal, i think patgizz has got a few of these out. the new ones are sold in the "HELP" section of autoparts stores, and are made of steel. if you use heat to get it off be careful to not get it too hot since the intakes are aluminum after all. i'd consider getting a saw of some sort and cuting it into 2 parts, and with heat tap them away from the threads. joey b
that tool doesn't help. However, NAPA sold me a tool to remove it. Problem solved. Thanks
