lbhskier37 Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 When I bought my car, the cruise didn't work (92 Regal custom), also the HVAC was screwy and wouldnt let me change from the floor ducts to the vents. I tracked it down as being a broken vacuum line. On my vacuum diagram it shows a line going from by the throttle body to the hvac/cruise system. In real life though there is a tee in this line and one end of it went somewhere under my airbox. I tried to find where it went, but it was just a broken end. I ended up just plugging the end with some glue and that fixed my cruise/HVAC. The cruise seems to work fine now, but once in a while it seems to stick. Like after reaching the top of a hill, the accelerator won't let off. I will speed up like 5-6 mph before it finally lets off. Is this maybe because of my just plugging that broken end? Did the broken end really go somewhere before, like maybe a bleed off oriface? Quote
Robby1870 Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 The line that goes under the airbox goes the vacuum ball thing in the driver's front fender. It's basically in front of the front wheel. It's a black plastic ball. Quote
