Test Fitting my Latest Mod...(56K-NO WAY!)

well, i decided to test fit my latest mod...and, when i took the stock spoiler off...i found THIS:

kinda sucks...cause now i have to have my whole decklid repainted...here's why:

anywayz...i'm pretty sure it will be worth it in the end...here is a teaser of what's to come:

Looks pretty good so far! You might not need to have the whole thing repainted though, why not just get it touched up and just have the damage spots fixed?

couldn't you just buff out that line the old spoiler left?

 

but that looks hella good!

sorry to be the first, but I've never been that big of fan of those. not saying it looks horrible, im just kinda "ehh" on it :dunno:

Not really my favorite either..i always liked the original spoiler better, but whatever you like!

BTW fibergalss it into the decklid THEN paint it, would be SOO hot seamless. :idea:

Only problem with that is if its not done perfect itll look like poop

Looks good, better than the original IMO, but I would get a whale tail SLP spoiler.

thats actually not a bad idea...

and you'd have to be careful shutting the trunk...too hard and CRACK!

Daytona/40th spoiler FTW!

 

its actually a SLP GTX GEN II...very similar to the Daytona/40th though...

the line isnt the problem...its the chips in the paint that have surface rust...as you can see in the one pic, the new spoiler sits a few inches back from where the stock spoiler sat...so all those chips in the paint are gonna show...

here's what the spoiler looks like painted...i bought a set of those exhaust tips too
