NORBI Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Today i drove about 250 miles and on the end of the day when i was waiting for the green light my car seemed to hesitate a little but but i ignored it. But when light changed and i pressed gas nothing really happened but it was moving very slow and it felt like it was running on fumes. Even when i flored it didnt make any difference car was going slow and had a feeling like it was about to die. What could go bad? Plz help Quote
Redfox340 Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Was the car running hotter than usually? If so, it could be a minor case of vapor lock... that can happen with a hot running DOHC. Also, start checking records on what you've replaced on the fuel system: possible a clogged fuel filter or a frying out fuel pump. You can check if the fuel pump is working by releasing the pressure in the fuel rail and turning to the car to the "ON" position to hear if the 'wine' of the pump comes on to pressurize the fuel lines. Best of luck! - RedFox340 Quote
Robby1870 Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 fuel pump is the first thing that comes to mind, dont know why, but it did, but it could a number of things Robby Quote
