dohc v6 Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 Ok so I am doing my interior over and I have new racing setas but I dont want to use the old belts with the new seas. I want to use the new belts I got, the ones that go over you. Now if I take out the old belts completly is this against the law or my insurance, its just the old belts look nasty and are dry and cracked and will look terriable, but then again I dont want my insurace to be lost and a ticket. 5speedz34 Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 I would check with your insurance company and/or local municipalities. What are you're "new" belts? Quote
Cam'ron Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 shouldnt be a problem... worst case i figure would be you would have to get the new belts certified or something after you installed them... you talking about a 5 point harness or something like that Quote
GP1138 Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 They might laugh hysterically at you putting 5-point harnesses in a W-Body, but I doubt it's illegal. I seem to remember someone doing it before.. not sure who. Quote
dohc v6 Posted December 11, 2006 Author Report Posted December 11, 2006 No they are 3 point harnesses. they are made by corbeau so they are already certified. I figured if they do say something I can always just put them in right away. I just dont want the nasty ass looking stock ones in my new interiror. Quote
