On the windshield is considered the benchmark for spl testing. But some organizations have different placement rules. Hell I did a 161db in my car.......with the mic in the trunk. 19Cutlass94 Posted December 5, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 5, 2006 it was south AFRICA not south america. it was Iasca IDBL it was on an AC meter the meter fell off the dash and spiked thier official run was a 177 and change. they also have different rules than dbdrag.. ie: you can actually build forward of the b-pillar in idbl. loud... yes!!... world record... no!
