digitaloutsider Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 I don't have any pictures from back when I first got the car, but it had to have one of the most disgusting engine bays I've ever seen. Absolutely filthy. Everything was caked in grime. The only shiny part was the blower, since it had just been replaced. I cleaned it again a couple of days ago, so.. here are some updated pics: Before: After: Regal engine cover FTL!!! Grand Prix cover FTW!!! Quote
99RegalGS Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Looks good Shaun!! I'm sure it's wayyyy cleaner than my engine bay right now. lol And yes the GP cover looks a ton better. My cover is safely nestled in my bedroom corner though. lol Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Looks pretty good! Its definitaly cleaner than mine, considering I havent cleaned it in months. Quote

digitaloutsider Posted December 4, 2006 Author Report Posted December 4, 2006 What did you use? Purple Power degreaser (full strength) in a spray bottle and a nozzle on the garden hose. Quote
1990lumina Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 I'm partial to full strength Simple Green, but whatever works!!, again it looks great Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 Looks great! Did that degreaser do anything to the rubber (make it look faded)? Just wondering. Quote

1990lumina Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 [/img] Is it just me, or does someone need a new engine mount??? ??? Quote
BXX Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 ^^^Can't see the pic???, It shows up fine for me... I was pointing out that digitaloutsider's engine looks like it is leaning a little to the left... i.e. bad engine mount perhaps Quote
mfewtrail Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 The engine doesn't lean, that's just the way most of the engine covers look(slightly bent). Quote
nebojsa_o Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 WoW, those BEFORE shots look about 20x cleaner than my AFTER shots. I only cleaned my 3100 once, when I first got the car, I've been slacking off since then... Maybe this spring I clean it up.. Quote
