chadz34
The problems with my high idle, not starting and hesitation were due to blown headgaskets. Lovely, I know. So, I will get my car back on Tuesday with ALL NEW head and intake gaskets as well as cam cover gaskets and new plugs, wires, oil and coolant. It's a whore of a repair bill. chadz34
Good luck. Make sure to check the valves They told me the engine is fine, luckily I brought it to them when I did they said. I am using GM gaskets. Repair bill is quite high, almost worth more than the car. chadz34
lovely. I just about shit when they told me, cause I knew when the heads come off, the timing belt and everything needs to come off. 13.5 hours of labour was the killer. Psych0matt
wow, and I thought just a timing job was a bitch. I hope my head gaskets dont ever go. I should have replaced them when putting the engine together, but i didnt think about it (and the head bolts didnt want to break loose, either)

Andrew
At $60/hour labor, thats $810 in labor alone! You are definitely a Obsessed W-Body freak!
chadz34
The labour rate is $82.00 here. I am having them keep the old gaskets for me. So, don't worry about that. I am definately a w-body freak.
