gp90se Posted November 13, 2006 Report Share Posted November 13, 2006 It isnt the o-ring dist gear, and its not dripping, but if I drive the car hard, it has an oil burning smell. id guess the LIM but haven't seen any oil. any other common spots for leaks? R Dubya Posted November 13, 2006 Report Share Posted November 13, 2006 yeah, alot of times its not the gaskets but the torx bolts with bad rubber seals on them. The lower ones especially. Oil runs right out of those seals are bad. Also the "v" on the covers needs RTV to properly seal them too. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

paulo57509 Posted November 25, 2006 Report Share Posted November 25, 2006 If your engine is anything like mine, oil leaks from everywhere. Front cover, rear main, crank position sensor...you name it.
