kuntzie Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 are they different.. if so how much/ what is the difference.. can for example the 3.4 one fit on a 3.1 edit ... i mean like the 3.4 DOHC with the getrag 284 and like the 3.1 /2.8 that the flywheel is used in like grand prix, cavaliers ect ect Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 I believe the 2.8 ones are different, they can only use a smaller clutch or something like that.. Quote
kuntzie Posted November 13, 2006 Author Report Posted November 13, 2006 ones for a 3.1 have a different # then the ones on a 3.4 Quote
5speedz34 Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 I know for a fact that 2.8 flywheels are different. 3.1/3.4's I always thought where different but; dohcfiend said something about fiero flywheels being the same so long as they are internally balanced. If thats the case then we can get aftermarket ones. Quote
kuntzie Posted November 13, 2006 Author Report Posted November 13, 2006 well heres the thing when i put my clutch back in my car was slipping like a mofo and i put a 3.4 DOHC flywheel into it (machined) so it just clicked into me that it might be that Quote
