CNBZ34
Car: 1992 Z34, 3.4 dohc I would like to re-locate my coil packs from beneath the hot exhaust. I've seen pics of those who have done it. What are the specefic things I need to do and watchout for. Is there a specefic thread that describes this process? Thanks! CNBZ34
Does anybody have a pic of a 94? would like to do it as close to a stock location as possible.
Psych0matt
mine is a 94. it was mounted below the front exhaust manifold. so much more of a pain to have it there, and not worth relocating it to that spot, if that's what you're planning. the 96+ spot is a good one. Im at school in the lab right now, but when I get home I have some links of good spots for when i was thinking of doing mine
CNBZ34
Sorry, I was under the assumption that they were mounted closer to the right side firewall.....my bad. I have no problems at present however I'd like to keep from having any as well. Other thing left on the plate to do is replace cradle bushings and LCA bushings as well. Mild clunk noises occasionally, struts/ motor mounts etc have been replaced and other suspension parts all good and tight. Bushings all look tired. Try that and go from there.
