97loudcut
Yeah IGARB x2 You know whats funny? It has a SICK cam and when he revs it that blower sounds amazing, then when they go behind the car it sounds like the typical 3800 with exhuast (which is terrible). What is a good sounding exhuast for 3800's. I had a GTP side by side with me on the e-way and he gunned it and it sounded amazing. It LOOKED like he had Flowmasters
digitaloutsider
And like every other 3800 powered W-body, the exhaust sounds like total shit. I'm going with Dynomax mufflers when I put the dual cutouts on the Regal.
GOT2B GM
It doesn't even sound like a V6.
Guest TurboSedan
What is a good sounding exhuast for 3800's. one that includes a T4 turbine.
Guest TurboSedan
just viewed it.... that is easily the worst exhaust i've ever heard. i would be embarassed to drive it.
19Cutlass94
That exhuats is horrible! Im sorry, but you cannot get a nice v8 cammed sound from a v6. Maybe with some good mufflers it will sound decent. I gotta upload the video of my dads car idling for you guys....
PCGUY112887
Sounds fairly good at idle... but when he revved holy cow I cried.
THe_DeTAiL3R
Idle is sounded cool.. kinda like a V8. But once he revved it sounded like a supercharged tractor. BLeh!!
Robby1870
yeah, wtf, idle wasnt bad, its hard to get good low frequency recording with a shitty camera mic, but when he revved, it sounded like a riced out civic or something. R Dubya
IDK about you guys, but that doesn't sound at all like a stock GTP. Real lopey, especially at the mufflers. Revs real fast. Bet that thing will make you shit your pants. Ahh, shitting pants in a car. Nothing like it.
stevegasm
That idle sounds awesome I hate the way v6's sound though, especially the 3.8 'tis why I'm keeping my stock mufflers.
kuntzie
thats what i meant the idle... ya the rev is really shitty

cutlass1991
now here is an awesome exhaust ...lol i dont think the guy found the gas pedal until the end of the clip when the camera almost blew away.
jdcutty
I happen to enjoy the way that mine sounds. I thought about going with some magnaflows though.
White93z34
best 3800 exhaust i've heard in awhile was on a camed' GTP, with headers and a DP, that was bolted to the stock resonator and mufflers.
Andrew
that gtp sounded horrible imo. even at idle i didnt like it, for a GP that is anyway. and that corvette, wow! i dont know how streetable that would be though, sounded like it was having a hard time idling. i was surprised that when i put in my dp(w/cat and u-bend delete) that it gave my exhaust note a pretty decent tone. i dont think ill ever get a cat back til the stock one rusts through. i do need better tips though.... runt
The GTP didn't sound too bad at idle. At rev that thing was very dumb sounding. BUt I guess that goes along with having the SC bolted on there! But I don't think that a V6 will ever sound as good as an 8, but thats just me! At least a V6 with exhaust sounds better than a Four banger with a fart cannon! That Z06 makes me wnat to go change my pants.
turby
That Z06 at idle makes me hard. Sounds fkn sweet. As for V6's, you can't make any of them sound good. They need two more cylinders.
5speedz34
This is why I want my buddy to put a cam in his GTP, but he's to much of a vagina to do it, and seems to think its going to cost him $1000 to get it installed. Ohh and this why he has stock exhaust, it flows decent for stock and doesn't sound like shit. Come to MIGPC's dyno day to hear some terrible exhaust.
