chadz34 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Ok, this problem has gotten worse.....when the car is idling every few seconds it makes a little ''pop'' noise and NOW when in gear and under load especially WOT it bucks quite a bit after 3,500 RPM. Is this a symptom of a bad injector or a fuel pressure regulator? Maybe even coils....BUT I used to run a bit of fuel injector cleaner in my car....fuck, I almost have this thing running good, this is the last thing I need to fix. Quote
Z34-5speed Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 EXACT same thing happened when i first got my 92Z. We changed the plugs/wires/cat/ and fuel filter till we got to the problem. It wound up being the o2 sensor on mine. As soon as i changed it the car stopped the bucking immediately and ran 10x better. Kyle Quote
SleeperRed90TGp Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Sure sounds like a coil. Get a known good one and try it in each spot. That's the only way to identify a bad coil. I assume your plugs and wires are in good shape cause they will cause the same symptoms. Jud Quote

When my ICM went bad it would buck horribly at 3500 rpm, and if i let my foot off the accelerator and let it catch its breath for a split second I could probly get almost to 4200 before it would do it again.
