chadz34 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 I saw 94CutlassXtreme's post about his car cranking but no start....my car has an remote start that was NEVER finished, but all wires under the column are all connected.....could this be why my car doesn't start sometimes.....although I put a colder thermostat in and it runs way cooler and doesn't get heatsoaked which is what I thought the problem was. I was just wondering if that could make my car not start and or run weird sometimes? EDIT* I was not the one that did the install on the remote start it was the previous owner. Quote
digitaloutsider Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 99% of all remote start installations are hackjobs, and 99% of the time when there's a problem on a car with one, it's due to the system or it's terrible installation. Rip all that shit out and wire it back to the way it should be. I hate remote start systems. Quote
